Job Description:
4 Leaf, Inc., a leader in project management and engineering
services across various sectors, is seeking a diligent Public Works
Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in
our public infrastructure projects. This role is crucial for
overseeing and documenting the compliance of construction work with
project specifications, codes, and other regulations. Our ideal
candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong background in civil
engineering, and possesses a robust understanding of public works
standards. Inspect various infrastructure projects including roads,
bridges, utilities, and public buildings to ensure compliance with
all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Monitor
contractors' operations to ensure procedural compliance with plans,
specifications, and codes. Document inspection details, including
noting defects and suggesting remedial actions, maintaining daily
logs with photographs, and preparing non-compliance reports.
Coordinate with project managers, government officials, and
contractors to discuss and resolve issues related to project
compliance and timelines. Review and interpret plans, blueprints,
site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure
project conformance to standards. Conduct environmental and safety
reviews during project execution to ensure public and worker
safety. Prepare and present detailed reports on project status and
compliance to management and stakeholders. Familiarity with civil
engineering principles and construction management. Strong
observational and analytical skills. Proficiency in using relevant
tools and technology for inspection and documentation, including
project management software. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for effective coordination among diverse
groups. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and
blueprints. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance

Inspector’s Association (ACIA) or equivalent is highly desirable.
OSHA Safety Certification.
