Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 school
population with severe disabilities and autism in a school located
in Middletown, DE. The position is a full-time contract role with a
school year duration, offering a chance to impact students ranging
in age from 2 through 22. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Functional
Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Support Plans
(BSPs) when needed. Participate as an active member of the crisis
intervention team, including de-escalation efforts. Collaborate
with educational teams to establish and monitor behavior goals
within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support data
collection regarding student behavior and progress. Provide
guidance and support to school staff and students on behavioral
concerns. Qualifications and Experience: Active Delaware
licensure/certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
(BCBA) with documentation confirming current status. Experience
working with individuals with severe disabilities and autism.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong skills in conducting assessments, behavior planning, and
crisis intervention. Work Schedule and Location: Full-time, 37.5
hours per week, Monday through Friday. On-site position based in
Middletown, Delaware at a K-12 school serving a diverse age range.
