Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of: Requirements for a comprehensive periodontal examination. Universal and area-specific instrumentation. Pre-clinical and clinical teaching methodology. Education: DDS / DMD or international equivalent, completion of training from an accredited dental school program. Certificate of proficiency in periodontics Licenses/Certifications Active license to practice dentistry Valid CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Ability to: Communicate effective with a diverse population of patients. students, staff, faculty and administration. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a group setting. Reflect, self-assess, and think critically. Maintain confidentiality of information. Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations. Experience: Previous teaching or practice experience is preferred Minimum of one year practice experience preferred Other: Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
