Job Description:
First Tech is seeking a dynamic and agile executive to lead our
indirect auto & fintech partner programs to continued success
across the United States. The right candidate will enjoy and excel
at developing B2B relationships; growing profitable loan portfolios
and mentoring employees to be their very best while always placing
the member first in all decisions.Here's what you can expect from
the job and what you need to be successful:Job duties:
- Evaluate loan portfolios, analyze developing trends and develop
action plans as necessary
- Develops policies and practices that optimize efficiencies
while meeting regulatory requirements
- Communicates credit union goals and divisional strategy to
management teams and employees to ensure clear understanding of
mission and expectations
- Participate in the development of overall consumer loan
strategy, objectives, policies and practices
- Exercise administrative control over all phases of the
department's operations, directly or through the consumer lending
teams
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop
competitive products and programs
- Provides management with budget reporting, analysis on a
division or department basis and prepare and present comprehensive
annual business plan
- Cultivate and maintain positive environment for employees to
cultivate and grow their personal skills and professional
development
- Establish and foster a consumer focused and performance driven
sales cultureEssential skills:
- Minimum 10 years' senior level leadership experience preferably
in auto lending
- Executive level experience directing and growing a loan
portfolio within the financial industry
- Experience developing B2B relationships while acheiving
profitable, strong sales results in an ethical manner
- Comprehensive understanding of state and national regulatory
requirements in lending
- Skilled in recognizing, examining and responding to conccurrent
industry, economic and/or internal trends
- Previous experience directing, developing and coaching large
teams both locally and remotely
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence multiple
audiences through succint and clear communication methods
- Ability to contribute to and deliver a business plan and
strategy that is in alignment with credit union and department
objectives
- Confidence to make decisions in ambiguous circumstances and to
work in an evolving regulatory environment
- Computer competency and hands-on experience with financial
software and loan application and decisioning systems (e.g. OSI,
Ackelerant)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
or other related fields of study; MBA preferredLocation: Hillsboro,
