Our Consumer Protection , Product Liability , and Environment (CPPL
E ) practice works with leading law firms and government agencies
on matters involving alleged deceptive practices, product safety,
labeling, advertising, and economic damages. We apply rigorous
empirical methods to evaluate consumer behavior, assess liability
exposure, and quantify economic impact. We are seeking a person
with a graduate degree in economics or marketing with strong
empirical training and an interest in applying it to real?world
disputes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to
high?visibility litigation and advisory engagements across a range
of industries, including consumer products, technology, healthcare,
and financial services. Develop and implement empirical analyses
related to consumer behavior, product usage, market structure, and
alleged economic harm. Build damages models, including overcharge,
benefit?of?the?bargain, and restitution frameworks. Conduct
statistical and econometric analyses using large and complex
datasets. Design, field, and analyze surveys and experiments. Draft
expert report sections, memos, and client-facing materials. Support
testifying experts in preparing testimony and regulatory
submissions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EDI,
including antitrust, labor, and securities. Present analytical
findings clearly to internal teams and external stakeholder. Basic
Qualifications: Ph.D in Economics with research focus in empirical
I/O, applied economics, microeconomics, labor or related field.
Minimum four years (4 ) years of experience in economic and
litigation consulting . Seeking those that have experience in doing
surveys and have supported consumer protection and product
liability cases. Strong background in microeconomics, industrial
organization, applied econometrics, or consumer behavior.
Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and statistical
programming (Stata, R, Python, or similar) . Demonstrated
experience and proficiency in designing, fielding, and analyzing
surveys and experiments. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, with the ability to translate technical analysis into clear
narratives . Desire to work within a team environment . Demonstrate
