Job Description:
Nature and Scope:The Physical Therapy Assistant implements
patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the
primary physical therapist to optimize the functional abilities and
skills of patient's. You will works with other members of the
rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs
and capabilities of each patient. Instructs/Communicates with
patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and
techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the
supervision of the physical therapist. You will provide timely
written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet
licensing, certification, regulatory and reimbursement requirements
and support and participate in department operations and
development.Location:You may be requested to travel between the two
offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville,
CA.Compensation:Compensation Philosophy:We have 13 pay increments
on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for
30 years of relevant experienceCompensation Range:$35.75 - $50.97 /
hourSign on Bonus:A sign-on bonus is being offered in the amount of
$5,000.00 to the successful incumbent for this position when hired
in a full time employment status, subject to the terms of the
agreement.New hires who accept part-time benefited employment
status in this role will be offered a pro-rated sign on
bonus.Employees hired in this role in a per diem employment status
are ineligible for sign on bonuses.Job Status / Shift
Information:Full-time and weekdaysQualifications:Education:Graduate
of an APTA accredited school physical therapyCurrent California
Physical Therapy Assistant License.Current Healthcare Provider BLS
Certification, approved by the AHA.Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities:Demonstrates respectful conversation in tone and
content.Assures patient privacy.Actively involves the
parent/guardian in care/teaching.Responsibilities:Prepares and
submits patient charges accurately to provide appropriate billing
information.Uses professional judgment to ensure safety of self,
patient's and other and others at all times.Achieves quality
patient care through interdisciplinary cooperation, teamwork and
effective communication.Attends required meetings as designated by
the Rehab Manager.Effectively communicates with therapist
