HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/04/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required. Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred. Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management. Unit Description: The intermediate care unit comprises of 18 beds and focuses on individuals who are experiencing severe, but usually non-life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, moderately intensive therapies and interventions, and moderate levels of nursing vigilance. These patients encompass all types of general medical disease processes including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory. Additional Comments: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
