About The Position Adelphi is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide services at a correctional facility in Herlong, California. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive medical care to the inmate population while ensuring compliance with established healthcare standards. Manage acute and stable chronic conditions. Perform physical, dental, and mental health examinations. Administer medications and obtain IV access. Provide emergency care and life-saving procedures. Assist in minor surgical procedures (e.g., sutures, I&Ds, cyst removals). Interpret diagnostic tests, labs, EKGs, radiographs. Prescribe treatments/medications after physician consultation. Document all patient interactions in electronic health records. Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain professional, ethical interactions with inmates.
