Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join a leading surgical team in Reno, NV . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular surgery and thrive in high-acuity, team-driven operating room environments. This role involves scrubbing and/or circulating for a variety of open-heart and vascular procedures with a rotating on-call schedule . Key Responsibilities: Assist with setup, intraoperative support, and post-procedure transition for cardiovascular surgical cases Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs in a sterile and efficient surgical environment Monitor patient status and advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout procedures Maintain accurate and timely intraoperative documentation in accordance with hospital policy Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to cardiac and thoracic procedures Comply with infection control protocols and all safety and regulatory standards Participate in on-call rotation , including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Requirements: Active Nevada RN license or Compact RN license (Required) BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA – Required) Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience (Required) Experience scrubbing and/or circulating open-heart and vascular procedures (Preferred) Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical techniques and OR protocols Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with precision and professionalism Sable Corporation Job ID 2025-126.
