Candidates should possess a minimum of one to two years of recent bedside nursing experience, relevant certifications, and a valid RN license. The Registered Nurse will apply theoretical knowledge to make informed decisions in practice, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating tailored nursing care in line with established nursing standards for adult and geriatric patients. The selected candidate will be required to report to facilities within the regional area of their home hospital. Specific facilities will be determined upon hiring, with approval from the leadership team. Preferred Education: BSN Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment and comply with all state board of nursing regulations. Required Experience: One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience is required. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software Certifications (Must have upon starting): BLS for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health BLS & NRP for Women's Health BLS, ACLS for Critical Care BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift; frequent bending, stooping, and lifting/turning patients with assistance; ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
