Position Details: CT Technologist- Chico, CA Location : Chico, CA 95926 Project Duration : Full Time/Permanent Pay range : $ 52.45/hr - $ 60.26/hr Sign On Bonus : Up to $10,000.00 Shift : Varies, Full Time (12 hours) Position Summary Under the general direction of the Manager of Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, the CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level without direct supervision. This role includes performing all general diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations. The CT Technologist assumes responsibility for assigned areas and operates CT and X-ray equipment, prepares patients, administers contrast media, and performs intravenous contrast injections. The CT Technologist is responsible for maintaining quality control and adhering to Client Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and departmental policies and procedures. This role actively supports the service excellence mission of Client and the Radiology Department. Key Responsibilities Perform general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT imaging procedures. Operate CT and X-ray imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepare and administer contrast media, including IV contrast injections. Prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications prior to procedures. Maintain quality control standards in accordance with ARRT and departmental guidelines. Ensure compliance with Client policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Assume responsibility for designated imaging areas as assigned. Contribute to service excellence and patient-centered care initiatives within the Radiology Department. Education / Training / Experience Desired: Two (2) years of experience in diagnostic X-ray One (1) year of experience in CT imaging Licenses / Certifications Minimum Requirements Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services Approved CPR certification ARRT certification and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire Desired Current radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification Current ARRT license California State Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit Advanced certification in CT To discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Nikhil Sai at email address Nikhil.Sai@generistek.com can be reached on (630) 576-1935.
