Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM /n• 36 weekly guaranteed hours /n• No call requirements /n• Nevada RN license required prior to start /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS /n• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required /n• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination /n• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients /n• Manage non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro /n• May float to Intensive Care Units, medical surgical units, and other facilities based on competency level /n• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during schedule period /n• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts /n• Facility has right to call off shifts with 48-hour notice for low census /n• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using the nursing process /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is nationally recognized in the top 1% nationwide for outstanding care in heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical procedures.
