CT Tech Location: Chico, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $45 to
$60 per hour Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Permanent (Full Time) Currently offering a $10,000 Sign-on
Bonus Shift: Varies, Full Time. Pay Rate: $99,000.00 to
$133,000.00/Yearly. Summary: Under the general direction of the
Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead
Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not
requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist can perform all
general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes
responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist
operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media,
performs Intravenous contrast injections, operates X-ray equipment,
prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.
Responsibilities: Using computerized tomography equipment to
capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their
bodies. Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to
prolong the life of the X-ray tubes. Sterilizing radiologic
equipment to ensure the safety of patients. Correctly interpreting
doctors' written scanning instructions. Administering radiocontrast
agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and
tissues. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience in
diagnostic x-ray Required, 1 - Year experience in CT Required,
Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire,
Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of
California, BLS Certification, ARRT Certification. Benefits
