This role requires a highly skilled clinician with strong Level III NICU experience and the ability to float between adult and neonatal intensive care units. Required Qualifications /t - /t Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience (Do not submit candidates without this background) /t /t - /t Demonstrated competency in: /t /t/t - /t/t High-frequency ventilation /t/t /t/t - /t/t Nitric oxide therapy /t/t /t/t - /t/t Heliox administration /t/t /t/t - /t/t Neonatal intubation /t/t /t/t - /t/t Neonatal ventilator management /t/t /t/t - /t/t Bubble CPAP /t/t /t/t - /t/t Heated high-flow therapy for neonates /t/t /t/t - /t/t Neonatal arterial puncture /t/t /t/t - /t/t Delivery room attendance /t/t /t /t /t - /t RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required /t /t - /t ABG certification/license required /t /t - /t Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required /t /t - /t NICU transport experience preferred /t Work Expectations /t - /t May be scheduled for on-call shifts as needed /t /t - /t Must be willing to float between adult critical care and neonatal critical care units /t Key Responsibilities /t - /t Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians /t /t - /t Perform diagnostic evaluations including collection and analysis of physiological specimens /t /t - /t Interpret cardiopulmonary data and conduct related tests and studies /t /t - /t Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support /t /t - /t Provide artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and oxygen therapy /t /t - /t Administer pharmacologic agents related to respiratory care /t /t - /t Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular care /t /t - /t Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and care plans /t /t - /t Apply respiratory care protocols across various clinical settings /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31795794.
