Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in
El Dorado County, California, to support multiple school locations
during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers a
dynamic work environment with travel between various sites ranging
from El Dorado Hills to Camino. Flexibility and adaptability are
essential, as assignments may change throughout the semester,
providing a varied and engaging professional experience. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language therapy services to
students with mild to moderate communication needs, with the
potential to support some severe caseloads. - Manage caseload sizes
that vary depending on the assigned position and location. -
Deliver onsite services only, adhering to district requirements. -
Potentially supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language
Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed. - Collaborate with school
staff to support student development and comply with Individualized
Education Program (IEP) goals. - Travel between multiple school
sites within the county to meet caseload demands. Desired
Qualifications: - Valid California SLP license is required; no
additional district-specific licensing is necessary. -
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. - Experience
working within California schools and familiarity with Special
Education Information System (SEIS) is highly desirable. -
Candidates must be comfortable with travel and changing assignments
during the school year. Location Details: - Assignments are
primarily within El Dorado County, including locations from El
Dorado Hills to Camino. - Travel assignments are confirmed; Lake
Tahoe is approximately 1.5 hours east, and Sacramento is about 45
