Nexeo HR is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Lead to support a high-tech data center facility in Sparks, NV (Near USA Parkway). In this role, you will act as the primary on-shift leader for Shipping & Receiving operations, supporting daily inbound and outbound logistics, assigning and prioritizing work, ensuring documentation accuracy, and maintaining safety and inventory control. The ideal candidate has hands-on shipping/receiving experience, informal leadership or team lead experience, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Apply now! Responsibilities • Serve as the primary on-shift lead for Shipping & Receiving operations • Assign daily tasks, prioritize workloads, and support team members • Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments including IT hardware, network gear, and spare parts • Match packing slips, purchase orders, and asset documents; report discrepancies • Label, document, route, and stage inventory for storage, inspection, or deployment • Perform full inbound/outbound processing per data center SOPs • Prepare, package, label, and release outbound shipments (domestic & international) • Create, review, and validate accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs) • Maintain inventory accuracy within EWM or similar tracking systems • Support consolidation, kitting, and staging for deployments, upgrades, or decommissions • Operate pallet jacks and approved MHE; assist with freight loading/unloading (team lift required) • Enforce workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area • Escalate discrepancies, delays, or risks impacting operations • Cross-train and support additional warehouse/logistics departments as needed Qualifications • 2–4 years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, logistics, or data center operations • Prior Lead, Acting Lead, or Senior Associate experience preferred • Proven ability to assign tasks and support team members during operations • Experience with EWM or similar warehouse/inventory systems • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Slides • Strong verbal and written communication skills • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift • Reliable transportation to Sparks, NV (near USA Parkway) • High school diploma or GED required • Must pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screening Pay $28.00 per hour Schedule Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Overtime may be required as needed.
