As a security first organization, Technology Delivery Services
(TDS) is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department. The
TDS teams include Information Security, Planning (architecture and
PMO), Application Development, HR & Payroll Development,
Infrastructure, and Client Services teams. We maintain an

Position Summary
The UCOP Cloud Solutions team is new, growing, and searching for an
energetic, self-starter to serve in the role of Cloud Operations
Specialist. This position will play a critical role in the support
and optimization of applications that reside in AWS as well as
collaborating with numerous cross-functional teams in a broad
effort to migrate critical applications to AWS that are currently
on-prem. The Cloud Operations Specialist will also assist in
growing and developing AWS expertise within the Technology Delivery
Services group (TDS) as well as helping to define a cloud services
roadmap for UCOP by anticipating future needs for the organization.
The ideal candidate will have deep and broad AWS cloud expertise
and prior experience in architecture, configuration and
optimization of critical business applications in AWS. They will
have experience in design, architecture and configuration of
applications in AWS. The position requires a background rooted in
customer service, extensive collaboration with cross functional
teams, and excellent time management skills.

Full Salary Range:
$105,500 - $200,700
The University of California, Office of the President, is required
to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this
role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that
are considered in making compensation decisions including but not
limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education,
licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational
needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary
at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are
determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The full salary range shows the growth potential for this position
and the pay scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the
