Job Title General CounselorClassification Title FT 11-Month FacultyDepartment Student SuccessRank InstructorTenure Information Tenure TrackSummaryUnder the direction of the Dean of Student Services, provides educational, vocational, athletic, career and guidance counseling to students in all educational programs. Assists with coordination and implementation of the college Matriculation Plan. This position may include a combination of day or evening assignments and may require interaction with incarcerated students.SupplementalMinimum Salary $83,535.98Maximum Salary $143,471.67Education and ExperienceMinimum Qualifications:Masters in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, OR the equivalent. (Note: A license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification for this discipline.)
