Job Summary: The HRS BI and Reporting team is charting new territory into the realm of report development, automation, data analysis, and visualization. In this role, you will be responsible for varied and complex tasks that will require sound, independent judgment. You will work on problems of diverse scope that includes analyzing complex, confidential, and time sensitive data across multiple platforms, systems, and applications. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate globally, standardizing, simplifying and automating HR operational processes and services. Essential Duties of the Position: * You will analyze global and regional data trends, synthesize major takeaways, and share your findings through effective data storytelling. * You will develop, prepare, and analyze reports with complex analysis and visualization for management review. You may present to various levels of management. * You will participate in and lead multiple projects and initiatives designed to build and improve reporting capabilities across multiple tools and systems. You will be skilled at defining clear business requirements and translating them to functional/system requirements. * You will actively participate in improving our team's performance metrics and identify areas of opportunity, as appropriate. * You will be proficient at scoping projects and improvement efforts, including analyzing the current state, working with stakeholders to articulate a clear future vision, the business value to be delivered, and the plan to accomplish it. * You will proactively escalate issues and problems appropriately to management to mitigate risks. * You will leverage design thinking and seek customer feedback to improve the customer experience. * Mentor and support the development your peers by providing guidance, training, coaching, and feedback. * Serve as a subject matter expert in the reporting; take the lead on more difficult team assignments. * Share best practices with the team that drives efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. * You will consult on solutions, and partner with business groups to evaluate effectiveness. * You will work with cross-functional teams and consult to deliver quality detailed design solutions. * You will dig into the root cause of issues, identify gaps, and make recommendations to improve the customer experience and operational efficiencies. * You will create, lead, and facilitate training workshops and socialize best practices. * You will prepare your stakeholders and teams for change through open and frequent communication and training. * You will communicate and collaborate with global partners across multiple organizations, teams, regions, and teams. * You will partner with HRIS and IT to manage technical issues and advocate for improvements on behalf of our customers. * Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: * You will have the ability to work independently under limited supervision, as well as work effectively as part of a team. * You have strong knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools and methods. Knowledge of Oracle systems a plus. Tableau development experience a plus. * You will have expertise in writing SQL code and other programming languages. * You will have expertise in using Visual Basic for Applications to modify and create macros. * You are a skilled problem solver with demonstrated analytical ability to assess complex data to identify trends and themes to apply strategic solutions and drive business decisions. * You are experienced in applying project management methodologies to drive high visibility projects to successful completion. * You love applying design thinking to continually evaluate user experience and interaction. * You have the demonstrated ability to apply continuous improvement best practices to identify improvement strategies and innovation. * You are a change agent and thrive in transformational environments. * You have a passion for knowledge and information sharing [people and systems]. * You are a diplomatic and influential partner with management, business partners, and other key stakeholders. * You are a skilled verbal and written communicator. * You know how to represent a problem to others, and how to work with them efficiently to solve the problem. Preferred: * Lean Six Sigma certification * PMP or CAPM certification * Change Management certification (Prosci) Physical Demands: * While performing the duties of this job, a person is regularly sitting in a standard office environment, at a desk, using a computer and phone. Acts as interface between business and IT organization with regards to HRMS implementation. Supports users in the report generation process. Works closely with the Business HR to ensure all reports in (via HRMS) including SQL queries (both ad hoc and maintenance reports) are accurate. Process Mass Change Spreadsheets. Ensures data integrity in Oracle HRMS database by running regular audits. Conducts high-level HRMS needs analysis, prepares business specifications, implements modifications and enhancements and ensures system documentation are updated. Assists with the development and delivery of HRMS training to users. Provides systems support for HR applications, including Oracle Core HRMS, HR Self Service Applications, Discoverer Reports, etc. Participates in User Acceptance Tests. Undertakes special projects on an as need basis to address specific HRMS issues. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Strong knowledge of Oracle applications, HRMS functionality, set-up tables, table structures, PL/SQL, and Microsoft applications such as Excel. 2 to 3 years Oracle Applications experience. Problem solving skills and strong analytical skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage vast amount of data efficiently. Typical experience 5-8 years.
