We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs.SummaryOur Team Members operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts with fork or clamp attachments. Tasks loading/unloading pallets and cases, picking/staging orders, putting away pallets, and other general forklift work.Roles and Responsibilities ---- - - -Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety--- - - -Sit-down lift experiences preferred--- - - -Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience--- - - -Must be super-efficient in all tasks required--- - - -Put away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forklift--- - - -Picking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipment--- - - -Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loading--- - - -Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy--- - - -Report quality variances--- - - -Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion--- - - -Assist in any required physical inventories--- - - -Complete daily inspection of equipment--- - - -Perform additional duties as assigned by management--- - - -Ensure proper stock rotation--- - - -Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program--- - - -Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards--- - - -Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documentsQualifications--- - - -Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test--- - - -This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period--- - - -18 years or older--- - - -Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment (e.g., team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, fast-paced, etc.)--- - - -Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)--- - - -Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)--- - - -Working with standards of operation (e.g., OSHA requirements on minimum/maximum speeds, signaling, putting products in appropriate areas, etc.)Safety:--- - - -Observe and follow health and safety regulations ---- - - -Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.--- - - -Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures--- - - -Maintain detailed records of safety incidents--- - - -Assign designated safety personnel--- - - -Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. -Xpedient Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Xpedient offers competitive wages, insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision and life), paid time off and holidays.Compensation details: 20.4 Hourly WagePIeec0c21c9715-37820-37472729
